The classic S-handle
The door handle came on the market around 1860, in connection with the many new palace property that was built in the larger Danish cities. The door handle is used both for interior doors and for the main door handle.
Søe-Jensen & Co's S-handle is made from original molds, available in 3 sizes: 84 mm, 98 mm and this large 127 mm, used to be used for the front door.
They are all in solid brass with high copper content, and are molded into sandy form, which gives the door handle a perfect surface. Neither door handle or rosettes are lacquered, which eventually gives the door handle a beautiful patina.
